We built Quorum after cleaning up the same leak twice

Quorum is a 19-person company in Denver. We were platform engineers who kept finding exposures nobody had time to fix, so we built the tool that writes the fix.

Why a pull request

In 2022 Elena and Marcus ran the platform team at a payments company. Every quarter a scanner produced a few hundred findings, and every quarter most of them were still open when the next report arrived.

The fixes were rarely hard. They were small, dull and nobody’s job. So we started writing them ourselves as pull requests and asking the right person to review. Open findings fell by 80 percent in two months.

Quorum is that habit turned into a product. It does the dull part, shows its work and leaves the decision with the people who own the code.

A finding without a way in is a note, not an emergency. We only open a pull request when we can show how the exposure is reached.

Reviewers trust small diffs. We change the fewest lines we can, in the style the file already uses.

Quorum has no auto-merge and never will. Your merge rules decide, and they are enforced by your code host.
